Requirements to Participate

Scholars must be academically eligible.

What is the academic eligibility requirement? To be eligible to try out or to participate in a middle school activity, students must meet the following academic criteria:

  1. You cannot fail more than one class the previous semester

Scholars must have a current physical on file.  This includes the physical evaluation and all supplementary forms.  These forms must be uploaded to Aktivate.com.  Instructions for upload: Aktivate Parent/Guardian Guide

Items needed at tryout/practices:

  • Water bottle 
  • Towel
  • Appropriate attire for the particular sport.
  • Asthma Pump or any other additional items needed

 

 

 

There will be NO CASH ACCEPTED at the gate for home games.  Students who are interested in attending the game must purchase tickets online.

Athletics Update:

We will no longer be accepting paper copies of physicals.  All physicals should be uploaded via

Aktivate

The focus of Dutchtown Middle School Athletics is not only on broadening the fundamentals of the sport and encouraging the enjoyment of the recreation but more importantly, developing the character of the student-athlete.
