November National Family Engagement Month

• Purpose: 

  To celebrate families and encourage their active involvement in their children's learning, development, and well-being. 

    Focus: 

• Strengthening the partnership between families and schools and empowering families to play a leadership role in education. 

• Activities:

  • Join or participate in your child's school's parent-teacher organization (PTA, PTO). 
  • Attend school events or volunteer your time. 
  • Engage in educational activities at home, like reading together. 
  • Communicate with teachers and school staff to build strong relationships. 
  • Work with your child on academic goals, such as reviewing their academic career plan.
