Amber Kersey serves as the Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator at Dutchtown Middle School, where she is passionate about supporting teachers, strengthening science instruction, and helping every student succeed. With more than a decade of experience in education, she has served as a science teacher, department chair, instructional leader, presenter, and mentor to new educators.
Mrs. Kersey holds a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Science Education at the University of Georgia. She is committed to building collaborative teams, using data to drive instruction, and creating engaging learning experiences for both teachers and students. She believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and continuous growth are the foundation of a successful school culture.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kersey enjoys reading, running, writing poetry, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and two sons. She is proud to be part of the Dutchtown family and is excited to help live out the mission of Every Bulldog. Every Day.
